Citizen, one of the leading Japanese watch brands has opened its concept store in Cebu last month. The brand has been in the Philippines for quite some time now but it was just recently that they decided to put up a stand-alone concept store.
According to Naoto Hosogaya, Citizen Watches Managing Director, the growing economy of the Philippines has pushed them to open a dedicated Citizen concept store. They opened their first concept store in the country in 2013 at SM Makati.
Citizen is known for their functional and refined watches. They also developed a cutting-edge technology fused with stylish design which is the Citizen Eco-Drive.
The Eco-Drive technology is a revolutionary idea that involves a watch the never needs a battery. The technology converts any light source, including sunlight, fluorescent light and ordinary light bulbs, into energy. It then stores the energy in a rechargeable lithium ion power cell, if fully charged, the watch can run for up to six months. The Eco-Drive watches enter into power save mode when left in the dark, it will automatically recharges and functions back to the correct time and date when exposed back to light.
Citizen watch models includes Citizen Altichiron Cirrus, Citizen Promaster Aqualand, Citizen Eco-Drive Satellite Wave and Citizen’s ladies collection. You may also check other collections at the newly open concept store or online. Speaking of online, always use the voucher codes to get great deals at ZALORA.
